The leftover day

Gray Skies

Mother nature said

“Today we’re having leftovers.

The gray sky from yesterday

A little rain from last week

Wind that I’ve held on to all winter.”

Hearing my groan she whispered

“Tomorrow child.  Tomorrow I’ll whip up

a spectacular day.  Feast on it.”
