I got up this morning, weeble wobbly as usual and took my coffee outside.
Normally I look out and see the sparkly blue water of the back bay shining in the sun.
This morning, before coffee, I looked out and the water wasn’t there.
My first thought was that someone had drained the place during the night.
A water thief.
After a few sips of coffee and some nicotine my brain fog cleared and I realized that it was a low tide.
Uh huh. See? I scare myself sometimes.
Speaking of water, California is having a drought. There are some restrictions( or will be some) on using water in farming.
The funny thing is there seems to be no restriction on watering the green spaces that are around the multi million dollar homes and gated areas.
So, obviously it is more important to look beautiful than it is to eat. I’m going to remember that the next time I want a donut.
Oh who am I kidding, no I’m not.
Donuts make me happy. Happy is beautiful.
Donuts require water.
So, stop watering things that don’t matter and save it for the donuts people!
And this post is a perfect example of why my blog is called RAMBLE in the bramble.
