It’s been an exciting couple of days.
Our sixth grandchild was born yesterday. Our son and daughter in law were blessed with a healthy 8.5 lb boy they’ve named Ace Daniel. We’ve been having the best time spending a part of each day with our granddaughter Sunny and now look forward to watching her adjust to being a big sister.
But let’s talk about that RV pig.
On Monday, I told you about a pig moving in across the street. I wasn’t able to get a photo, even though I became a pig stalker for a few hours.
Yesterday, when we returned from Newport Beach, the pigs RV was gone. I was so disappointed! Now I’d never learn the pig’s story or get its picture.
Later as we were sitting outside, the Pig RV came back. I’m pretty sure I yelled “yahoo it’s porky!” as I jumped out of my chair.
They must have taken the pig to Disneyland!
I ran inside to get my phone, and by pretending I was trying to get a signal ( probably didn’t fool the pig’s mama) managed to get some really bad, blurry pictures of a pig-shaped something coming down the probable pig ramp.
This morning, Pig Photographer Dave actually spoke to the pig’s parent and got the scoop and two good photos.
The pig’s name is Harley, he is 5 years old, and he is a mini something or other ( I’m pretty sure Dave’s eyes glazed over by this point, and he was thinking “the things I do for this woman!”). He is one of three pigs that live with the man but the only RV pig. He is fully housebroken and lets them know when he has to go out.
Harley and his people left today. Thanks to Look What I Do For You! Dave, I got the pig story.
Now I’m on the lookout for the next RV Park oddity.
